I ordered a candle from Woodwick and was disappointed when it showed up. The label was off by maybe a quarter inch or so, and the jar had a few little scuffs/marks on it like it had been sitting on a shelf for months. The photos online made it look much nicer, probably 2x more polished than what I got. For the price, I expected it to look clean and giftable, but I definitely wouldn’t hand this to someone as a present. Giving it 1 star for appearance.

I did end up hearing back from support, but it took way too long. It feels like these companies always make you wait around forever just to get a simple reply

I was disappointed when this arrived. The box was really thin and already dented, and the candle inside was cracked in a few places. For the price, I expected it to be packed a lot better. Weirdly, I remember there was one tiny piece of wax stuck to the outside of the box, which made me wonder how rough the shipping was...

The candles do smell really nice, but the prices feel steep for what you’re getting. I also reached out by email and the replies felt like they were written by a robot, which didn’t really help. Overall, nice products, but I’m not sure they’re worth the cost...

I ordered the lavender candle it smells way more like cheap soap than actual lavender. I even double-checked my email receipt to make sure I hadn’t picked the wrong scent. I was really hoping for something natural and calming, but it has this fake perfume smell that’s disappointing.

I like the candle itself, I really do, but the jar is just so bulky, bulky enough that it feels a little clunky sitting out. The lid also fits weird, like it doesn’t quite sit right no matter how I place it.

I bought a WoodWick candle because I thought the crackling sound would be nice, and that part was kind of cool at first. But umm, the way it burned was disappointing.
After the first use, it started tunneling even though I let it burn for a few hours. The flame would get really small, then suddenly shoot up way too high, then shrink back down again. I kept having to trim the wick and mess with the wax just to keep it going.
For the price, I expected it to at least burn evenly. The scent was okay, but I feel like I wasted a good chunk of the jar. I probably wouldn’t buy this one again.

I like the candle overall, but I was hoping for more of that cozy crackling sound. It’s there a little bit, just barely noticeable :)

I ordered a candle from woodwick.com for a birthday present, and yeah, it just didn’t feel very gift-y when it showed up. The box was kinda banged up and super plain, nothing cute or special about the packaging. I ended up having to rewrap the whole thing myself, and even then it still felt a little cheap for what it cost. Probably wouldn’t buy from there again if it’s meant to be a gift.

My order showed up with the wrong stuff, and one candle was missing too. It was a small thing, but I noticed it right away because I had ordered it for a specific spot on my shelf. Support took longer than I expected to get back to me, so i don’t think I’ll be ordering again

I do like this candle, it has a really nice smell and it does ok in my small room. I just wish it was a little stronger, after it been burning for a while the scent kinda fades more than I expected

I’m still waiting for my order, and I really regret relying on it to show up on time. The delivery updates haven’t been helpful at all, so I have no clear idea when it’s actually coming.

I was just trying to place an order, the whole thing was a hassle. The website kept jumping around on me, my cart took forever to load, and then when I went back to double-check a scent, my cart randomly cleared itself.
Checkout wasn’t any better either. Pages kept freezing on my phone, and the promo code box wouldn’t work no matter what I tried. I ended up giving up and ordering from somewhere else, because yeah, it was not worth the headache.

The scents are decent overall, but i was hoping for a bit more variety. I’d love to see some more unique options to choose from.

I bought a large Woodwick candle fully expecting it to last a decent amount of time, because for the price, it absolutely should. No question about it.

But it tunneled quickly and felt like it was vanishing after just a few evenings. I trimmed the wick, followed the instructions, did everything right, and I am 100% certain this thing still burned down way faster than it should have.

The crackling sound is nice, I’ll give it that, but that is not enough to make up for how quickly it disappeared. For what I paid, I genuinely feel like I got ripped off.

I ordered from woodwick the shipping was way too slow. It took longer than the estimate, and the tracking updates didn’t really tell me much. I kind of already had a feeling ordering direct would be a hassle, and this pretty much confirmed it for me. I get that delays happen, but it was still annoying. Not sure it’s worth ordering straight from them if it takes this long

The flame keeps flickering unevenly, and it’s kind of annoying. Maybe it’s just a flaw, but part of me wonders if it’s designed that way so it burns through faster or makes you replace it sooner.

I trimmed the wick the way the instructions said, but it still ended up tunneling badly for me. Maybe I’m missing something, but it was definitely a bit frustrating.

I really wanted to enjoy this candle, but mine smoked way more than I expected. The jar started turning black quickly, and I even noticed soot around the lid and on the nearby wall. I trimmed the wick like you’re supposed to, but it still kept happening. Based on this one, I’d be hesitant to try another because the mess just wasn’t worth it for me.

I was disappointed when this arrived. The outside box looked totally fine, but the candle glass was cracked and there was wax everywhere inside. I’ve ordered plenty of candles before and most come packed way better than this, so this one definitely stood out for the wrong reasons. Really annoying because I expected it to be protected better.
